Centers of Excellence

Renowned experts speak about the restrictive limitations faced by epilepsy patients in their daily lives, the severe limits of current therapy options, and the advantages for epilepsy patients offered by the novel stimulation procedure EASEE®.

Every third patient does not respond adequately to the currently available drug therapy options.
Prof. Dr. Andreas Schulze Bonhage
Medical Director of the Freiburg University Hospital
It will be exciting to follow what other possibilities EASEE® may hold to improve the brain function and quality of life of patients with functional brain diseases.
Prof. Dr. Christoph Helmstaedter
Head of Department Neuropsychology at the Clinic and Polyclinic for Epileptology at the University Clinic Bonn
With regard to the implantation technique, EASEE® is the simplest of all currently available neuromodulation systems and also the gentlest method for the patient.
Dr. Martin Glaser
Senior physician at the neurosurgical clinic of the University Hospital Mainz
The highly innovative EASEE® stimulation method can precisely target the epileptic focus of each individual patient and treat it permanently.
Michael Tittelbach
Chief Technical Officer, Precisis GmbH

Help for those affected

Patient organisations

Epilepsy self-help groups provide support to people with epilepsy and/or their relatives through advice and action. People with epilepsy often feel better understood and reassured when they interact with people with similar medical histories. Patient organisations also lend their voice and weight to help influence health policy when it comes to making novel therapeutic innovations more rapidly and readily accessible to all.
